This company is the corporate vehicle for capture and proposal services provided by Kevin Pirko.  As needs arise Competitive Acquisitions Consulting will source professional proposal consultants to perform specific roles to support a capture effort but the bulk of the work performed is by Mr. Pirko.  Below is a professional biography summary for Mr. Pirko:

 

I have 18 years of proposal, capture and program management experience having held leading roles in government acquisition programs since 1994 as both a US Air Force Acquisition Program Manager and as a contractor serving government clients.  Career highlights include managing the $200M acquisition of hardware and software to test B-2 Bomber avionics, developing the strategy and requirements for systems information systems, managing development teams, scoping and managing hosting operations, and capture and proposal management for government contracts.  I have personally delivered capture process artifacts including Opportunity Qualification, Competitive Analysis, Win Strategy Development, Capture Strategy Development, Win Themes/Discriminators, Call Plan Development, Teaming Approach, Solution Development, and Pricing Strategy.  My proposal leadership includes managing multiple large proposal efforts.  This encompasses creating compliance matrices, developing detailed proposal plans and schedules, leading teams through proposal development, mentoring authors to develop storyboards and associated graphics, orchestrating color reviews, and coordinating proposal production. The result of my efforts has been producing compelling and compliant proposals that score well against the evaluation criteria. My depth and breadth of industry experience across the system lifecycle translates to my ability to go beyond managing and tracking proposal development and add value to the proposed solutions.
